Where Are We Going

Some of you have asked about our itinerary. Here is a thumbnail of it. Greater detail with dates and times is available on the Holland America site.

Packing Day 12/18/11

Still nine days to baggage pickup, but we packed everything today. We are each shipping two bags. Guess what, everything fits. We even feel like we have packed too much. Hard to believe after reading on Cruise Critic that someone is shipping ove ten bags. Guess we will be seeing them in new outfits everyday. Well maybe not, I think they said they are bringing pillows and a 2" mattress topper. Hope they don't know something we don't know about the beds on the Prinsendam.

Now we wait for our FedEx paperwork to arrive and then the pickup on the 27th.

After that it will be just  7 days to departure. Thank God for Christmas and New Years. That will really make time fly.

Grand Voyage

The excitement is building toward our Grand Voyage. We have our Brazilian Visas and luggage pickup reservation. Also got our doctor's orders for Yellow Fever shots. Going to the travel clinic soon for those.
