Smooth seas continue to bless us. It is hard to imagine cruising these many thousands of miles with only a few rough days. Activities continue to fill our time. Today, the 21st, I met with Russell to ask him to critique what I have done on my own with the HAL project. He found my tension acceptable. He gave me some tips on filling in some odd segments in the design. He also explained that in stitching a thread tail under finished stitches it is best to go horizontally or vertically. He commented that anytime I wanted to I could leave the background for a while and do a letter. He suggested that I add a 5 row border of blue, the color of my letters. I should follow this with 3 rows of the beige background color.
With 4 sea days coming after Indonesia, I hope to be finished when we get to Hong Kong.
It is hard to believe our cruise ends in just 18 days.
