Azamara Quest Cape Town to Athens 

Preparations 

Alice and Pat are once again running away from Elk Grove’s winter. Our 54 day cruise departs from Cape Town on February 20th.  This is actually 3 cruises that we are taking back to back to back.

We have been to Cape Town, Point Des Galettes, Colombo and Athens before. All of the other ports will be new to us. That is why we chose this itinerary. In addition we will cruise the Red Sea and transit the Suez Canal. 

Our prior visit to Cape Town was for 2 days when Amsterdam docked there during the 2018 World Cruise that we had joined in Fremantle. We enjoyed the city so much, that we will be leaving home on the 12th to spend a week there before we board Azamara Quest on the 20th.

In April we will go directly from the ship to the airport, sine we have toured Athens before.

Not the Dolls

We are in the final stages of packing and reviewing checklists of what to take and what to turn off at home before we leave. Along with the building excitement is the tension that comes from not wanting to overlook anything important.
