After breakfast in the dining room with 2 other couples encouraging us to do the whole voyage, we adjourned to the Queen's Lounge for a shore excursion lecture. This is the main showroom for lectures and entertainment. It has a spacious main floor and a nice balcony. We prefer the balcony for good sight lines. The shore excursion, Byron, manager did a good job of describing the excursion in Puerto Limon on Saturday. We will do coastal touring and visit a banana processing facility. Will have to depart at 7:30.
We went up to the Crow's Nest at 10:30 for the Cruise Critic Meet and Greet. We met Pete, who has moderated this list from the beginning. There are something like 160 participants. We met John and Alice from Chicago. We also chatted with Roger and Sandy. We had dined with them one night during the Grand South America n 2014. What fun to meet old friends.
A very good lecture on tectonic plate movement followed. Then it was back to the dining room for lunch with 4 more people encouraging us to do the whole World. OK, someday. After lunch, I attended Milt's lecture on piracy while Alice did the Arts and Crafts project. She had done a Windows 10 class in the morning with Kristin, the Digital Hostess. This was a happy reunion as Kristin did the computer classes on Prinsendam last summer. Alice and I did this same class together yesterday. It is nice to be so warmly welcomed by someone we know.
We took a one hour nap, and it was dinner time. All of the ladies had busy days, but none compared to Alice's. Terri insisted that Alice stop because she was getting tired just listening. All of this was in good fun. Two hours of good conversation and good food flew by. Then it was time for Talk of The Town presented by the Amsterdam singers and dancers. It was outstanding.
Sleep came easy.
