As many of you were aware or have figured it out this blog not only serves to keep you informed, it is also my journal. As a result I may sometimes be too verbose. Again, please move on when you wish I would stop already.

This is a much needed sea day. The heat in Manila really took its toll on us.

I discovered today that much of that could have been avoided. In going through material for upcoming ports I discovered tickets for a full day tour in Manila. I had purchased these onboard back in February, and had completely forgotten about them. The shore excursion office will remain closed until Saturday. I will see them then to learn if their stupidity policy is any more lenient than their cancellation policy. It is highly likely that we will not recover any of the cost. This is a first in almost 500 days of cruising. I will get over it, but I am really disappointed in myself.

I have included this to let you know that when all is not roses, I will also report that. I will let you know the outcome on Saturday.

The rest of this day served well to rejuvenate us. We enjoyed dinner with Sandy and Roger. It was good to share Manila experiences.
