February 5, 2019 - Sea Day - Tuesday, Day 30
Today we are cruising towards The Maldives. In a lecture we learned that this small country is made up of a series of atolls. In effect it is a range of islands about 300 miles long by 100 miles wide. They vary in size and number in the low thousands. They are the peaks above sea level of an underwater mountain range.
Our first stop will be the Island city of Male’.
This was a restful and informative day.
