February 3, 2016 - Day 29 - Sea Day

I have failed to mention that we have had Maori representatives aboard since reaching New Zealand waters. They teach Maori crafts and dance. Alice has made a Poi ball. It is used to strengthen hand and arm muscles. It plays a roll in Maori dances.

Our new lecturers are very good. Allen Wright, the astronomer, has excellent slides, good content and an outstanding delivery. I had fallen asleep in other lectures. I thought I was really tired. I was bored. I never fell asleep during Allen's talks. The historian is also an excellent presenter, but his topics have not appealed to me.

Tomorrow we visit Picton on the South Island.
